Oma Fertility

Oma

As the head of the Fuse Project team that designed the brand and launched Oma Fertility in 2021, I helped shape the company's mission, values, and visual identity.

Oma Fertility is a full-service fertility clinic that brings together cutting-edge lab design and technology to provide in-house treatments like IUI and IVF, coordinate seamlessly with third parties like surrogate agencies and egg and sperm banks, and make it easier for families to grow.

Fast Company's Second Annual List of the Next Big Things in Tech.

The name Oma was developed to replace Thread Robotics.
Oma has Sanskrit origins:
• A protector
• One who is favourably disposed (towards another)
• Anyone fit to be protected or favoured.

Derivable forms: omah

Oma bridges empathetic care at home and in the clinic with precision technology in the lab for a completely supported IVF experience.

In the highly competitive fertility industry, having a strong brand identity can be a key factor in attracting and retaining clients. Extensive research on the needs and desires of the target audience, including those seeking fertility treatments helped shape the emotional approach to naming and brand identity.

A full customer experience was designed.

From social channels to on-site physician care, we set out to alleviate the worry and project the blend of science and care as the heart of Oma

Putting the same old experience behind a shiny new waiting room doesn’t make more babies. Oma is changing fertility treatment with innovative technology, respectful care, and ethical pricing.
