As the head of the brand team at fuseproject, I led the design process alongside the strategy team. From concept to finalization and partnered closely with the client team through the strategy, naming, design, and launch of the business.

 


The strategy for Tono was to provide dermatological solutions specifically tailored for African Americans, Asians, Hispanics, and Latinos, as most physicians are trained on white skin.

 
 


Tono is an important and necessary step in addressing the racial disparities in healthcare and ensuring that people from diverse backgrounds receive the medical care they need.

 
 


Partnering with the digital and content teams we built a digital-first customer consolation experience.

Skin care products were designed around specific needs and shipped directly. Follow up treatment’s and monitoring are included in the service.

 
 


By focusing on the unique skin care needs of these populations, Tono was able to differentiate itself in the market and provide a valuable service to underrepresented communities.
