Palo Alto Networks — Okyo

Okyo

The branding and industrial design for Okyo were created by Fuse Project in 2020, and my team worked to develop messaging, illustration, photography, website design, and packaging that would support a successful launch.

The team had to navigate the complexities of working with a large organization like Palo Alto Networks, balancing the needs of the business with the creative vision for the Okyo brand. Palo Alto Networks ultimately decided to convert the business back to the parent brand to streamline costs.

The space within the K and the Y of the word mark represents a protected zone. The name Okyo was derived from the word Tokyo — one of the safest cities on the planet.

The purple O references the light ring on top of the product and creates further distinction. Very clean, minimal design language was developed to create a “no hassle” service and product set-up in the consumers mind.
